Optical Training
KL-OTNET
Optical Fiber Measurements and Splicing
Who should attend:
This course is intended for network planners and O&M technicians who need to know the new OTN standard to exploit the advantages that it brings in terms of provisioning and QoS.
SDH, ATM and IP networks basic skills.
This course aims to provide trainees with the knowledge on OTN structure and functioning. The ITU-T G.709 transport hierarchy will be studied, with particular focus on the frame structure, the overhead features that support multi-wavelength networks and the client signals mapping. Moreover, this course highlights the dynamic bandwidth allocation at the transport layer using the GMPLS protocol.
