Overview

Fast Lane Computer Consultancy is Cisco Systems, Inc.’s largest Cisco Learning Solutions Partner (CLSP) worldwide providing world-class training on all Cisco products and technologies from entry-level to expert-level.  In addition to the Cisco offering, Fast Lane is also a global Learning Partner for Network Appliance (NetApp).  Fast Lane is growing rapidly and is seeking a talented Account Manager to join the existing Sales Team.

The successful candidate will sell Fast Lane’s Cisco and NetApp training courses to a number of assigned accounts across the UAE and other Gulf countries (occasional travel will be required). This role will largely be customer facing.

Job Purpose

  • Build strong relationships across all levels (including CxO, Sales, Operations, Procurement & Finance) of assigned accounts.
  • Drive sales execution resulting in increased revenue, market share and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve & exceed defined sales targets of Fast Lane learning solutions.
  • Educate customer base on the business value added by authorized training.
  • Identify and close new business opportunities.
  • Execute sales strategy as defined by Sales Manager.
  • Work with the Fast Lane Sales Team to cultivate, qualify and close new opportunities.
  • Work with Sales Manager to accurately forecast sales.
  • Become Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide consultative services to customers aimed at generating and maximizing revenue.
  • Manage large scale training projects end-to-end.


Required Qualifications & Areas of Expertise

  • Educated to degree level (BSc/BA)
  • Knowledge/experience of Cisco products, technologies and sales strategy is advantageous.
  • Sales skills within networking industry are advantageous.
  • Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales quotas in excess of US $1m.
  • Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and be flexible.
  • Excellent knowledge of customer business models.
  • Excellent presentation skills, time management and personal appearance.
  • Strong team player.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Excellent spoken Arabic.
  • Computer literate with basic use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
